There’s no doubt that the need to understand the mechanism of data-driven digital marketing is becoming increasingly essential, not just for marketing professionals, but more for those outside our industry as well – small business owners are facing tremendous competition from online and need to have some basic understanding of how to promote their business. For many, this takes them away from their comfort zones and so access to training is essential.
We also have a need to cross train and help those who want to move into our industry, or back for those who’ve taken time away to raise a family.
It was to provide a response to this that we created the One-for-One Program. Under this program, we work with partners like Australia Post, Optus, Stockland and Bupa to offer access to IQ online courses free of charge.
Here’s a great example of someone who really benefited from this program.
“I just wanted to let you know that the learnings from your one-day SEO course has helped us improve our Google rankings from page 14 to page one! – we’re stoked!”
– Anna D’Annilli, Kyora Landscapes
The idea was simple; for every dollar invested by these companies in training their staff with IQ, we would offer training to an equal value to key groups on behalf of the industry. Post and Optus focused on Small Business whereas Bupa wished to support regional communities and groups. To date, this group has helped provide a total of $600,000 in training to those who have a real need and who may otherwise be unable to commit financially.
We are very proud of helping build this program and of the industry for which we work. This show of support for our broader business community is exactly what’s needed if we are to continue to grow and explore new opportunities offered by technology.
I’m happy to announce that we’re looking for new partners who wish to work with us. If you are looking at training for your team, we’ll work with you to offer the equivalent value in training to groups of people your company wishes to support.
