Emily Eliot is the Head of Social Media & Content at Tourism Australia, responsible for strategy and content for the global social media channels and websites for leisure and business events travel. Originally from San Francisco, Emily began her career in Shanghai managing digital marketing and social media for Trip.com’s international team. After moving to Sydney in 2012, she spent 8 years working in client service and strategy roles across PR, CX and Creative agencies in Sydney prior to joining Tourism Australia in 2020.
