Lachlan Rees

Lachlan works with governments, industry associations, consumer advocates and other stakeholders to ensure that public policy and regulatory change results in improved consumer outcomes as well as sustainable and affordable financial services. Since joining Suncorp he has been involved in the design and implementation of the updated General Insurance Code of Practice, reforms arising from the Financial Services Royal Commission, the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements, and other inquiries and consultations by parliamentary committees and departments.

Before joining Suncorp in 2017 Lachlan worked in private legal practice, advising professional indemnity insurers and their clients on compensation claims, professional regulation matters and other inquiries.

Lachlan Rees is a member of ADMA's Regulatory and Advocacy Working Group
