Home Nicole Bradbury FOR THE LOVE OF MARKETING 2025 Discover what drives some of the most passionate and successful marketers in the industry! This Valentine’s season, we asked Nicole to share what she truly loves about marketing. Read on for her inspiring answers! Nicole Bradbury Brand, Media and Content Marketing Manager at Carnival 1. Why do you love marketing? For me, it's the perfect balance of creativity and problem solving. And, I'm innately curious about human beings and culture which I think is essential for any marketer. 2. What made you fall in love with being a Brand, Media and Content Marketing Manager? I love that my day is never the same - I might be at a shoot onboard a ship, reviewing a media plan, or sitting in a creative workshop. My week is so varied that it's impossible to stagnate or become bored. 3. What excites you about the future of marketing? Will AI do some of the heavy lifting when it comes to targeting and strategic media planning, therefore freeing up time and headspace for more creativity? Maybe we'll finally answer the age old question; is it media placement or creative which is most important (just kidding, that debate will never be resolved) - or, is this all a fad? 4. What is your favourite marketing campaign? Two come to mind: Aldi - Shop Aldi First. The insight is spot on and the brand know who they are and have leant into it. Carlton Draught - Big Ad. It's a classic, but the fact we all remember it so many years on is testament to how impactful it was. For me it's what marketing should be - simple and memorable (and bonus: enjoyable) 5. Something you want to upskill in this year? I've just started the Better Briefs course to help me nail the art of writing a great brief. BONUS: Your favourite marketing guru or podcast? Mark Ritson.
