It's the perfect mix of art and science - I love that I can be brainstorming creative ideas with the team one minute and then tracking the dollar impact of a campaign the next. 2. What made you fall in love with being a Marketing Communications Lead? Being surrounded by the most incredible marketers everyday - I'm sure many people say this but I truly believe I have one of the best teams in the industry! 3. What excites you about the future of marketing? The ability to prove our impact on the bottom line with greater accuracy - gone are the days of marketing being considered the "colouring in department". Brand tracking and attribution technology not only continue to improve but are also becoming more accessible through the likes of companies like Tracksuit. 4. What is your favourite marketing campaign? As a Kiwi millennial it has to be Colenso's "Togs, togs, undies" for Trumpet - making an ad campaign so good it becomes a national cultural icon is rare and this was a true moment of advertising brilliance. 5. Something you want to upskill in this year? Probably, like most of the world, AI and understanding its implications for marketers. At TikTok, this means playing around with new tools like Smart+ and Symphony which make it easier than ever to scale your campaigns on the platform. BONUS: Your favourite marketing guru or podcast?
